Errinundra Saddle Rainforest Walk
Follow an easy self-guided trail under the rainforest canopy, over small streams, past elegant ferns and colourful fungi. Most of the track is on a boardwalk raised above the forest floor, designed to enhance the comfort of visitors and protect the delicate rainforest environment.

Errinundra National Park is 373 km east of Melbourne via the Princes Hwy (A1). The two main approaches are: From the west via the Bonang Rd, Gap Rd and Gunmark Rd; or from the south, turn off the Princes Hwy along Combienbar Rd, 54 km east of Orbost. Drive through Club Terrace to Errinundra Rd which climbs onto the Plateau and takes you to the Saddle. Allow two hours driving time from Orbost.
No fees, permits or bookings required
Parking, toilet and picnic facilities
Level 2 - No experience required. The track is hardened gravel or compacted surface and may have a gentle hill section or sections and some steps. Walks up to 10km.
Roads into the Park are unsealed and not suitable for 2WD vehicles or towing during wetter periods. Check road conditions during wet seasons. Please check with Parks Victoria on road closures before visiting.
Pets and firearms not permitted. Please observe fire restrictions.
